Who knew visiting the dentist could be so relaxing? Here at The Hollywood Park Dentist, we want to relieve the anxiety and stress that you may associate with visiting the dentist. Visiting your dentist regularly is essential to your overall health, because skipping out on the dentist could lead to issues like persistent toothaches, tooth loss, bad breath, and even heart problems. When you request sedation dentistry from us, you won’t need to worry about any of those potential health problems any longer. With sedation dentistry, you will be able to visit your dentist and remain completely calm and comfortable throughout your appointment.

Accomplish More with Sedation Dentistry

Another benefit of sedation dentistry is that it can give you more tolerance for sitting in the dentist’s chair. With sedation dentistry, Dr. Feller and his team could potentially perform several dental procedures in a single sitting that would otherwise take months or years to complete. Often, patients will have to schedule several appointments to get all of their needs serviced, or even just to complete a single complicated procedure. With sedation dentistry, your body and mind will be able to relax so that you can check several several procedures off of your list in just one day.

Nitrous Oxide for Sedation

We offer nitrous oxide, or “laughing gas,” as one of the sedation dentistry options to our patients. Once you arrive, before your procedure, we will place a face mask over your nose that you can easily breathe through. The nitrous oxide that you breathe in through the mask will allow you to unwind and feel completely at ease.

Oral Conscious Sedation

For our other sedation option, oral conscious sedation, all you will need to do is take a pill. Dr. Feller can instruct you on when to take it so that you can feel at ease throughout your visit. You will stay conscious throughout the procedure, but in an utterly relaxed state.
